Hello, my name is Ellen and I run Affinity Professional Pet Care. Here at Affinity, I provide an unusually large selection of pet services. From dog walking to fish feeding; from cage cleaning to dog bathing, I strive to ensure that all your pet requirements are seen to.
As a qualified veterinary nurse, I understand the needs of the animals under my care. I will ensure that I provide your pets with a high standard of welfare, plenty of affection and of course, ensure they’re having fun. That special member of your family deserves the best, and I provide just that. To ensure a high level of service and safety of animals in my care, I drive a fully fitted vehicle, have pet business insurance and have been CRB checked.
Your dog will be walked in a small group of no more than four dogs. They will be taken out along one of my designated trails to ensure your pet has a decent walk away from danger and if appropriate, is able to play off the lead. I aim to not only walk the dogs in my care but to also play with them and provide positive reinforcement by rewarding good behaviour.
Time away from their family can be stressful for your pet. To help comfort and reassure your pet, I provide a sitting service. I will visit your pet at your place of residence and provide them with stimulation through play, company and plenty of TLC. Whilst sitting, I can feed your pet (with food provided by client), let them outside and provide other services upon request. Discounts are available for multiple pets within the same household.
I offer a feeding service for a variety of animals. From fish (Inc. Marines) and reptiles, to dogs and cats. I’ll ensure that they get their meal on time. If your pet has any special dietary requirements, please inform me prior to my visiting.
As a veterinary nurse, you can be assured that your pet’s paws are in safe hands. Please inform me if your pet is easily distressed by activities such as this prior to my visit.
This service is provided in the client’s home. I am able to supply a range of grooming products for your pet (Pet Head) and will make sure your loved one is clean and fresh. Please inform me of any allergies your pet may have prior to my visit. All of these services are tailored to the specific needs of your pet. No matter the life stage, or species, your pet will receive the best care possible.
I offer a cage cleaning service, perfect for those who are either short on time or would just appreciate feeling safe in the knowledge that their loved one receives a thorough, hygienic clean. I use pet safe disinfectant, clean & refill bowls/bottles and ensure all your pets bedding is changed (bedding & food to be provided by client.)
Affinity offers services to those in Leven. Services can be offered further afield but may be subject to additional 35p per mile charge to cover time and petrol.
You can arrange an appointment by either contacting me on my mobile (call/text) or via email. However, before I can visit your pet, I will ask you complete some paperwork informing me about you, your pet and the services you require. The forms should be returned via email or by post if necessary. Once I receive the forms, we’ll arrange a free of charge consultation at your premises and run through specifics and any special requirements your pet may have.
If my visits are to be on a regular basis, I’ll collect a copy of your keys during our consultation and run through locking/unlocking procedure. If my visits are to be less frequent, I’ll collect the keys prior to our appointment at a time that is convenient to us both.
If our appointments are to be on a regular basis, payment should be arranged via standing order. However, I will take payment in cash or via a single transfer into the Affinity account. Simply scan the QR code (on business cards & leaflets) with a smart phone and make your payment.
If our appointment needs to be cancelled due to a change of plans, an unwell pet or for any other reason, please inform me 24 hours prior to our appointment. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may still be chargeable.
If there are problems with keys or alarms, I will contact your appointed persons (family, neighbour or friend). If they cannot gain access to the house (for example, with a spare key), a locksmith or alarm engineer will be called as appropriate. The client is liable for any expenses incurred through third-party charges. This is essential, as the health of your pet is my primary concern. During our consultation, you will be responsible for explaining and providing codes for alarm systems, as well as persons to contact in the event that I need to obtain emergency access.
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will immediately call and notify you. If veterinary assistance is required, I’ll take your pet to your nominated vet or to the nearest one possible, depending on the circumstances.
My hours run from 9am till 6pm. I am however able to adjust these hours under certain circumstances.
